Never really hated them to be fair as I probably have more Spurs mates than anyone else due to living in east Herts for a long time, of course, I love it when we smash them, as we're going to do later on

Their supporters are the problem for me... You get the occasional decent fan but a lot of their supporters are very arrogant and seem to lack footballing knowledge...
They'll boo their team off when they lose a game 1-0 even if their team has been desperately unlucky and deserved to win the match - shows a complete lack of knowledge and disregard as well...

I hate spurs, because of their largely black cab driving, loud-mouthed, expectant so called fans.
Utter utter cunts.
I hate Millwall but at least their fans know their football and are generally interesting to talk to.

I never used to have a problem with Spurs until they took Defoe, Kanoute and Carrick off us. After already suffering the depression of relegation, I had to suffer Spurs fans gloating and took an immediate dislike to them.

is there ever a rational hatred for a professional sports franchise?
I hate them because they pretend and spend like they are among the big boys but always come up short due to poor management (current season notwithstanding although I believe they will choke down the stretch). Oddly enough, I would hate them even more if they had success. also it is fun to have someone to hate.

Because they are everywhere and none of them have ever been to WHL or London for that matter. And they are smug and self congratulating with none of the self deprecating humour of us or dare I say wall.
They have no sense of identity, something even Chelsea and arsenal have.
